Become a mentor, make an impact!
At Minds Matter Colorado, mentors are at the heart of our mission—and the difference-makers in students’ lives. As a 98% volunteer run organization, we've designed a structured and scheduled mentoring program. As a volunteer mentor, you will walk alongside with your students as cheerleaders and trusted supporters—helping them navigate high school, stay on track, and dream big. Academic support, test prep, and college advising come from subject matter experts. Your role is to champion, encourage, and believe in them.

We're so proud of each of our graduating seniors and of the growth and achievement they've demonstrated over the last three years. We are cheering them on as they step into their journeys to college. The Class of 2025 is attending 17 different schools across the country and each student secured significant financial aid support and scholarship support. On June 18th we're throwing a reunion and it won't be the same without you! If you are a former mentee or volunteer, join us to reconnect and relive the moments that made your MMCO experience so great. Come for the food, stay for the community.
New Program Advancements for 2025-26
MMCO is embarking on our next strategic program advancement! Starting in Fall 2025, all incoming sophomores will come together at George Washington High School for a more unified, academically rigorous experience. With expanded Monday night programming, sophomores will receive mentoring that MMCO is known for, but with added academic support and strengthened college advising. These updates are designed to help our students thrive in an evolving post-secondary admissions landscape. To learn more about our 2025-26 program plan, click below!
A CELEBRATE to Remember!
This year's CELEBRATE brought together the MMCO community in big ways! More than 420 guests gathered together for our 20th Anniversary event. Thanks to our guests and sponsors, we raised more than $380,000 in support of our students! Thank you to everyone who sponsored, made a gift, and joined us for this event. We had a great time hearing from our seniors and celebrating their accomplishments, sharing the Minds Matter spirit, and dancing the night away with all of you.
