At Minds Matter Colorado, we know that college acceptance is just the beginning of a student’s journey. That’s why we’ve launched the College Support Pilot—a light-lift, high-touch pilot program designed to help our newest alumni navigate the critical first year of college with confidence and connection.
Serving 33 graduates from the Class of 2025, the pilot provides monthly pulse check-ins and personalized outreach from volunteers and staff. These short surveys and text nudges help us stay connected, celebrate milestones, and identify when a student might need extra support. When challenges arise, we connect students to campus resources and, in some cases, deploy small micro-grants to remove urgent barriers.
By tracking engagement and outcomes throughout the year, this pilot will help MMCO understand what types of ongoing support our alumni most value and how we can best help them thrive through their college career and beyond.
